Keanu Reeves has been cast to star in Netflix's action movie 'Maelstrom'. The film, based on 'Die Hard', was first pitched in 1993 and is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Reeves replaces Alan Ritchson, who exited the project. The movie is set to be a renewal of the 'Die Hard' franchise.
